Service Overview
What Are Our Door Supervision Services?
Door Supervision is delivered as a defined operating model, not ad-hoc cover. Security Company London planning sets duty posts, patrol frequency, and response priorities before deployment, so risk exposure is controlled from shift one.
SIA door supervisors are positioned at entry points to enforce the venue policy that the premises licence requires and the Designated Premises Supervisor is legally responsible for. Officers apply intoxication assessment, prohibited item search, and refusal procedures through the lawful framework that protects the venue from regulatory challenge and public liability exposure.
- Venue Licence Conditions Briefed Before Every Shift: Officers receive the venue's specific licence conditions - capacity, age verification rules, last-entry time, and any special conditions from the licensing authority - before the shift begins.
- Entry Screening: ID, Intoxication, and Prohibited Items: Door supervisors apply the three-stage entry check - age-appropriate ID verification, intoxication assessment, and prohibited item screening - in the order and manner that the DPS's policy requires.
- Refusal Log Completed for Every Denied Entry: Each refusal is logged with the officer's SIA number, stated reason, and timestamp throughout the shift, producing the refusal log that licensing solicitors and local authority inspectors review.
- On-Venue Policy Enforcement Before Escalation Becomes Necessary: Officers monitor behaviour inside the venue and intervene in the pre-confrontation phase - managing conduct before a situation requires ejection or police attendance.
