Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Security Services London and its clients. Please read them carefully before engaging our services. By requesting a quote or entering into a service agreement, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Interpretation & Definitions
- "Company" refers to Security Services London, operating in London, United Kingdom.
- "Client" refers to any individual, business, or organisation that engages the Company for security services.
- "Services" refers to all security guarding, patrol, key holding, alarm response, close protection, and related services provided by the Company.
- "Website" refers to the online platform operated by the Company at securityserviceslondon.co.uk.
- "Agreement" means the written or verbal contract entered into between the Company and the Client for the provision of Services.
2. Provision of Services
- The Company provides SIA-licensed security officers and related services to businesses, property owners, and event organisers across London.
- All services are subject to a formal written agreement detailing scope, staffing levels, hours, reporting requirements, and pricing.
- The Company reserves the right to substitute officers of equivalent SIA licence and experience where required by operational necessity.
- The Company will use reasonable endeavours to maintain staffing at agreed levels and will notify the Client promptly of any significant changes.
- Emergency or short-notice requests are subject to availability and may attract additional charges as agreed in writing.
3. Client Obligations
- The Client must provide accurate and complete information regarding site requirements, access arrangements, and known risk factors prior to deployment.
- The Client is responsible for maintaining safe working conditions for all deployed officers in accordance with applicable health and safety legislation.
- The Client must not instruct officers to undertake duties outside the scope agreed in the service agreement without prior written consent from the Company.
- The Client must report any incidents, concerns, or changes to site conditions to the Company promptly.
- The Client agrees not to directly employ or solicit any officer deployed by the Company during the term of the agreement and for 12 months thereafter.
4. Fees & Payment
- Service fees are as agreed in the written quotation or service agreement. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Invoices are issued weekly or monthly as agreed and are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise stated.
- The Company reserves the right to charge interest on late payments at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum.
- Any additional costs arising from changes to scope, out-of-hours requests, or unforeseen site requirements will be invoiced separately.
- The Company reserves the right to suspend services in the event of overdue payments after providing reasonable written notice.
5. Limitation of Liability
- The Company holds public liability insurance of not less than £5,000,000 per occurrence.
- The Company's liability for any single incident shall not exceed the aggregate value of fees paid in the three months preceding the incident.
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from the performance or non-performance of services.
- The Company is not liable for losses arising from events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to civil unrest, extreme weather, or acts of government.
- Nothing in these terms shall limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
6. Confidentiality
- Both parties agree to keep confidential all information disclosed in connection with the services that is designated as confidential or that a reasonable person would consider confidential.
- This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
- Officers deployed by the Company are bound by confidentiality obligations and will not disclose client information to third parties.
- The Company may reference the client relationship in marketing materials unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
7. Termination
- Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice as specified in the service agreement (typically 4 weeks for ongoing contracts).
- The Company may terminate immediately in the event of non-payment, material breach, or conduct that poses a risk to officer safety.
- The Client may terminate immediately in the event of a material breach by the Company that is not remedied within 7 days of written notice.
- Upon termination, all outstanding fees become immediately due and payable.
8. Data Protection
- Both parties will comply with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- The Company processes personal data only as necessary to deliver the contracted services and in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- Any personal data shared by the Client for the purposes of access control or site management will be handled securely and not retained beyond the period of service.

9. General
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior representations or agreements.
- If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- The Company reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on this website.
