Service Overview
What Are Our Key Holding Security Services?
Key Holding Security is delivered as a defined operating model, not ad-hoc cover. Security Company London planning sets duty posts, patrol frequency, and response priorities before deployment, so risk exposure is controlled from shift one.
Key custody operates under strict chain-of-custody controls, with role-based access authorisation protocols determining which responders can access which premises. Every key release is logged with officer ID, access reason, and timestamp - creating a complete audit trail for every entry event and removing the personal liability that client-held keys create.
- Secure Storage From the Moment of Handover: Keys are placed into a tamper-evident, access-controlled storage environment at handover, with each key individually registered and logged from the first day of the contract.
- Role-Based Access Authorisation: Only named responders with pre-confirmed authorisation can release a key for a specific premises - preventing any release outside the approved access list regardless of the stated reason.
- Every Release Logged by Officer ID and Timestamp: The officer releasing the key, the premises accessed, the stated reason, and the exact time of release are recorded for every access event across the full contract duration.
- Post-Attendance Report Sent to the Client: After every alarm callout or emergency access event, a written report covering arrival time, site condition, actions taken, and re-securing steps is sent to the client on the same day.
