Service Overview
What Are Our School Security Services?
School Security is delivered as a defined operating model, not ad-hoc cover. Security Company London planning sets duty posts, patrol frequency, and response priorities before deployment, so risk exposure is controlled from shift one.
School security officers understand that safeguarding is the primary compliance obligation governing every access decision on a school site. All officers are briefed on the school's safeguarding policy before deployment, DBS-checked where required, and trained to recognise and escalate safeguarding concerns - not just to manage visitors and control gates at arrival and dismissal periods.
- Safeguarding Policy Briefing Before Any School Placement: Officers receive the school's safeguarding policy, DSL contact details, prohibited visitor management procedures, and the escalation steps for different categories of concern before their first gate shift.
- Gate Management During Arrival, Dismissal, and Events: Officers manage vehicle and pedestrian entry at school gates during the highest-risk access periods - pupil arrival, afternoon dismissal, and evening events - verifying visitor identities against school-approved lists.
- Campus Patrols and Perimeter Monitoring During School Hours: Officers cover perimeter access points, car parks, and external school spaces during the school day - reducing the trespass and perimeter breach incidents that schools with open sites experience.
- DSL-Aligned Incident Escalation Records: All security incidents involving pupils, parents, or external individuals are escalated through the school's DSL pathway and documented in formats compatible with Ofsted safeguarding inspection requirements.
